Ubud is the center of Bali, and is conveniently located in the mountains. It is surrounded by rice paddies (not to be confused with rice
patties) and lots and lots of Hindu temples, rivers, canyons of jungle, and volcanoes. Basically, it is the definition of paradise. Not to mention the beaches...
